SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you create an account, part of the process is to add personal information such as your name, email and phone number. All of that data, including your name, email, and phone number, is uploaded to our cloud server at all addresses used by our service (https://app.parso.cr and https://parso-dev.herokuapp.com).

When you use the app, we automatically receive the IP address that provides us with information about your device's operating system or browser.

Marketing emails: With your permission, we may send emails about our service, updates, or new features. 


SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do we receive your consent?

When you add your personal information in creating your account, or when you enter your vehicle registration number to log in, you consent to our collecting that information and using it only for the purpose expressed.

If we ask for personal information for a secondary purpose (e.g. marketing), you will be asked directly for your consent and have the right to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If for any reason beyond our control you would like to withdraw your consent for us to use your information, you can contact us by sending an email to info@parso.cr.


SECTION 3 - WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or if the Terms and Conditions are breached.


SECTION 4 - PARSO

Our application sends information to a database on a firewall-protected server using HTTPS protocols to ensure security at all times.

Payments

When you pay by credit or debit card, Parso does not store card number information or security codes. Our payment processor is responsible for receiving this information directly, so it never passes through our servers.


SECTION 5 - THIRD PARTY SERVICES

In general, third party services used in our system will use only the information strictly necessary to enable them to perform the service for which they were contracted.

However, the payment processor has its own privacy policies regarding information required to conduct transactions.

We recommend reading these providers' privacy policies to understand how personal information is handled by them.


SECTION 6 - SECURITY

To protect personal information, we take preventive measures and follow best practices to ensure that it is not manipulated by any third party by access, use, alteration, or destruction. We use encryption for the transmission of all data through SSL technology.


SECTION 7 - AGE OF CONSENT

To use PARSO, you must be of legal age in Costa Rica.


SECTION 8 - CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. If significant changes are made to this policy, we will notify you that it has been updated so that all parties are aware.
